Have you always wanted to try and create an improvisational or abstract quilt? A Quilt made without specific intention; free piecing or liberated piecing. This series will allow you the freedom to create your thoughts in fabric! First, a night to review the upcoming classes (June 16th) and to look at some of the creativity in front of you as we explore three different styles. That intro night is free to all. Please sign up (without cost) so we have enough chairs. Afterwards, the classes will begin in July. The first class style will be 'improv patchwork' (July 10th), the second class will be 'improv minimalism' (July 24th) and the third is 'improv art quilts' on August 7th. August 14th we will have a guest speaker, award winning Cindy Stohn, Long arm Quilter Extraordinaire, about improv quilts, negative space, and quilting.
