This is a three-Saturday, quick, intensive 5 hour workshop on all the basics of quilting. You should have done previous sewing and are familiar with your sewing machine to get the most from this fast pace class. You will learn how to read a pattern, cutting skills, sewing, squaring up, walking foot quilting and finishing. This class will set you out on your own quilting adventure, and have you creating masterpieces in no time at all. Your class manual is included in the fee for the class. This will be one of your first quilts and provides learning half-square triangles, rail strips and nine-patch throughout the quilt. This will be the beginning of many creative projects for you and your family.
SPECIAL NOTE: IF you have little or no knowledge of your machine, it is advisable that you FIRST COMPLETE the "Get Acquainted with Your Machine" Class. This is a one-on-one appointment prior to class where you will learn basic machine sewing, and sign-up is available in the shop or you may call. The you will be ready for class!
